Ciel Russet in color

Well this piece was inspired by one of the THe-LA's scrapped sketches, that I got permission to use to create this piece.

Well the changes had been drastic.... from an innocent girl dressed for winter to a "larger than her gun" totting girl.
As expected of anything that becomes a "lantice version"
Also, I was planning on making a black rock shooter fan art soon and this piece is the testbed on what I might create when I come to that point.
Since the original concept art was provided by , I gave him the honor of naming this character. At first he gave me a really weird name.... but in the end he delivered me with a suitable name for this character.
Anyway took me 2 months to get this done. I've been experimenting with textures and lighting effects in photoshop which I recently learned to do. 90% of this piece is colored using paint tool SAI and the remaining was done traditionally and with photoshop for effects. So far I'm quite pleased with the results and this piece easily tops my best works as of 2/23/2011.
